1st beat RH, 2nd beat RF, 3rd beat LH. 4th beat, LF.
I cue my horse for the RIGHT LEAD when his inside RIGHT front leg is under my stirrup and his inside right hind is on the 1st beat. The inside Right front leg will move to the 2nd beat and the outside left hind the 3rd beat leading leg will be the 1st beat of the RIGHT LEAD LOPE.
